Introducing Rays: Your new favourite place to eat in Port Hedland

Combining fresh WA produce with Southern Californian flavours in a retro-cool space, here’s a taster of what’s on the menu at Rays.

The new place to eat in Port Hedland actually has a long history

Rays takes up the old restaurant and bar space at The Hedland Hotel, overlooking Turtle Beach. 

Newly renovated, it’s undergone a significant transformation in layout, food, and personality. Now, Rays is a place to soak up the sun and enjoy good company, food, and drinks from our beachside oasis.

The new fit-out also highlights The Hedland Hotel’s history. You’ll find nods to its original Palm Springs stylings, designed to create a space that feels airy, light, and laid back.

Not your usual Aussie pub

Much like the sun-drenched desert modernism of the space’s new look, the food and drink selection at Rays continues in the same theme. 

Discover casual dining, with bold flavours: Southern-Californian-inspired dishes, from mouthwatering baja fish tacos to fresh Seafood Towers.

Rays is designed to be a spot where you can sit back, relax, and lounge the afternoon away. Enjoy long, lazy lunches with friends, from 12:00pm.

Relax on the desert-chic day beds. Sip a crisp, refreshing beer after a long day, as you gaze out over the bay. 

Get together with friends in the evening over a decadent cocktail, or take the family out for a no-fuss meal on your Port Hedland holiday. Dinner service starts at 5:00pm, so it’s a place for everyone—at any time of day, too.
